‘Sing a song of sixpence, pocket full….’ Man, I used to hate that song.

Our hero, Tsing Lee,is a beautiful young woman, who just happens to have been born a boy. Tsings’path in life leads to wealth, fame, happiness, intrigue and to the depths of sorrow–all courtesy of a mysterious church.

Tsing is party to a right-wing conspiracy by the Party of G.O.D. (Guardians of Decency) against a sitting D.M.C. President (Defenders of the Middle Class). Of course, once the Guardians gain complete control of the USA, they screw up the country so horribly that Charlie Caswell (the disgraced ex-president) is called back from exile in the hope that he might bring order out of chaos. The whole thing ends with the seeming destruction of the world by fire; a virgin birth; and a hope for the survival of the human race.
